FOUR new volunteers, inspired by the extension of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, started work on Saturday, helping to plant 250 trees at Dandra Garth in Garsdale.
Since the park’s boundaries were extended to include more of Cumbria last August, 16 people have come forward to offer their skills and time to the ranger service operating in the Western Dales Area of the Park.
