The Westmorland Gazette's glossy lifestyle magazine Living will be available next week.

The former Limited Edition publication has been re-branded and now has a new name.

With an elegant new design and some new regular features, the magazine will continue to be a showcase for the people and places that make the Lakes, Lune and Dales so unique and special.

Previously we produced four magazines each year, but with so much to see and talk about in 2017 Living will be published six times a year from now on. The complimentary publication, available to pick up at scores of locations across Cumbria, north Lancashire and North Yorkshire, has gone from strength to strength since it was launched back in spring 2001 and it remains one of only a handful of quality magazines not to carry a cover price.

In this month’s spring edition, we celebrate the coming and tell the story of Dora's Field at William Wordsworth's former home Rydal Mount.

Cumbria Wildlife Trust gives tips of what flora and fauna to look out for over the next few months, while the range of activities in the great outdoors - from mountain biking and pony trekking to sailing and canoeing - are explored.

We offer a beginners' guide to the fells, while in a new regular feature, walking blogger George Kitching from Barber Green goes walking in the Lake District to reveal the geology, history and customs of different landscapes starting with 'The Stuff of Legend' on the Helvellyn massif.

Also included are features about The Rusland Movement’s new Cartmel showroom; Ulverston playwright Zosia Wand and the chef at the Sharrow Bay Hotel.

With regular book reviews, readers’ photographs, an events diary, gardening, interiors and society snapshots, there is something to appeal to everyone.

And if you are planning to tie the knot this year, check out the 32-page annual Wedding Guide supplement, packed full of ideas for choosing venues, gowns and photographers to make your special day one to remember.

Living will be available to pick up from Monday, March 27 at The Westmorland Gazette's reception at Wainwright's Yard or from numerous other venues in the area.
