THE plight of starving people in East Africa has prompted Churches Together in Levens to hold a special coffee morning on Saturday, April 8.
Everybody is welcome at the donations-only, free event at the Institute, in Levens village, from 10am to 11.30am.
The Disasters Emergency Committee has launched its emergency appeal to help 16 million people on the brink of starvation.
