A male pedestrian suffered minor injuries when struck by a car at Gillinggate, Kendal
A KENDAL man was taken to hospital in Preston on Tuesday evening after being hit by a car.
The 20-year-old pedestrian suffered concussion and other minor injuries when he was struck by a white Citroen DS3 at Gillinggate.

A 69-year-old Kendal amn was the driver of the vehicle involved in the incident, but a police spokesperson said there was little chance of him being able to avoid the collision, which occurred at approximately 6pm.
Any witnesses who are able to provide information should call Cumbria Police on 101.
