Faulty electricity meter caused Grange fire
A FAULTY electricity meter caused a fire at Grange-over-Sands in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Firefighters were called to a house at Methven Close at 2.08am.

The crew put out the fire by using a CO2 extinguisher, and gas and electricity supplies were isolated.
The fire is suspected to have been caused by an electrical fault with the meter.
