SCHOOLS and companies across South Lakeland have been raising money today for Comic Relief.
At Kirkbie Kendal School in Kendal, a total £816,50 was raised frpm cake sales and hockey matches.

At the Brewery Pre-School at Kendal, children raised cash by dressing up in red and helping to run a baking stall.
Ryan Toal, Deputy Manager of The Brewery Pre-School, said: "Our children enjoyed a fun filled baking day, dressed in red in support of Comic Relief. We're looking forward to donating the money we raised from selling cakes to this amazing charity, which was only made possible by our wonderful families."
