FOURTEEN-year-old golfer Caitlin Whitehead of Kendal Golf Club has recently received a call up to represent England in two forthcoming international events.

During the second week in April, Caitlin, who plays off a handicap of plus one, will travel to Ireland to represent the England Nations Cup Team in the Irish Girls Open Strokeplay Championship.

The following week Caitlin moves on to Scotland where she will be a member of the England Girls Under 18 squad competing in the Scottish Girls Open Strokeplay Championship.

Caitlin, who attends Kirkbie Kendal School, is extremely proud to be representing her country and is looking forward immensely to two weeks exciting golf. Caitlin is very grateful to Kirkbie Kendal School for allowing her limited days off to compete in high calibre tournaments throughout the year.
