View from Gummer's How by Bob Spratt
Westmorland Gazette reader Bob Spratt of Kendal took this photograph of Windermere from Gummer's How.
"Being in my mid 80’s, although still pretty active, I don’t do much walking these days," said Mr Spratt.
"To make up for this I often pull into the layby here to admire the view and the way the light affects it.
"I have taken pictures of sunsets and clear views from this same layby but on thisday I was impressed by the gentle light, the subtle cloud formation and the way the foreground was quite brightly lit."
