THE former home of Ulverston's police superintendent is to be converted back to a dwelling.
The property, Neville House, on County Road, has most recently been used as offices by Cumbria County Council, but is now empty.
Applicant Karl Slater, of Lakeside, has been given planning consent by South Lakeland District Council to return the three-storey detached property to a house.
