BOTTLES of perfume were stolen from Boots on Ambleside this afternoon.
According to the police, a man, described as 6''0 tall, white and aged in his mid-twenties, had entered the chemists' at 12.15pm today.
He was wearing a black baseball hat, dark jacket and jeans, and was carrying a bright-coloured bag.
