A 60-year-old fell runner suffered a broken collar bone near the Robinson summit on Saturday afternoon.
The man, who was competing in the Anniversary Waltz fell race, had fallen while running.
A Keswick Mountain Rescue Team vehicle left within 15 minutes of being paged.

Air Ambulance was also requested, given the casualty’s pain and the danger of hypothermia at a very exposed location, and the helicopter got to the scene just ahead of the rescue team's truck.
The man was then flown to the Cumberland Infirmary.
The rescue took over two hours from 13 team members.
