'Stones thrown' in attack on teenage girl at Kendal Castle
A TEENAGE girl was assaulted by several teenagers at Kendal Castle.
The victim, a 14-year-old girl from the Kendal area, was attacked within the castle and at the exit to the grounds.
The offenders threw stones at the girl, punched her to the face and kicked her to the legs during the assault, which lasted for several minutes.

The assault took place at around 7pm on on Friday evening (April 21).
Police are appealing for any witnesses, or anyone who can provide further information, to contact PC 2386 Norman by calling 101 or by email at 101@cumbria.police.uk.
