TWO South Cumbria-based teenagers held up their hands to class A drug crimes - and received a custody warning from a judge.

Oliver Hambley and Zak Robinson, both aged 19, appeared at Carlisle Crown Court today.

During a short hearing, Hambley admitted offering to supply controlled drugs on four separate dates last year.

Three of these relate to class A ecstasy and were committed on July 23, 25 and 29 last year. A fourth concerns offering to supply class B ketamine, on July 17.

Robinson pleaded guilty to a charge of supplying a quantity of class A cocaine to another on July 28.

Robinson had also admitted three other crimes at a previous court hearing. These were said to be two counts of offering to supply ecstasy to another, on July 15 and 25, and possessing the same drug on July 30.

Judge Peter Davies adjourned the hearing and told the pair they are due to be sentenced at the crown court on May 15.

In the meantime both Hambley, of Woodside Cottages, Haverthwaite, and Robinson, of Sheriff Well Close, Greenodd, were granted bail.

But Judge Davies told the teens: "I am going to bail you but you can't take it from that that there won't be a custodial sentence.

"All options are open."
