A TEMPTING array of home-made cakes, jams and chutneys ensured plenty of visitors to Allithwaite and Cartmel WI's spring show.
The annual fundraising event also featured plant, book and scarf stalls, a raffle and tombola, and took place at Allithwaite Community Centre.
Around 70 people enjoyed the attractions and the cream teas, with scones baked by the talented ladies of the WI.
"The weather was fabulous so some people took their trays of tea outside," said Wendy Graham, president of Allithwaite and Cartmel WI. "It all just seemed to go very well."
The WI meets on the first Tuesday of the month, at 2pm, at Allithwaite Community Centre. Its Christmas fair is to take place at Grange-over-Sands Methodist Church Hall on Saturday, November 18.
