A PROPERTY in Arnside has been 'ransacked', with jewellery stolen.
Between April 10-27, an unoccupied property on Briery Bank was forcibly entered via the front door.
The front door was jemmied and has forced the door lock mechanism and security chain to break.
The property was entered by unknown persons and the house was 'ransacked'. Various items of jewellery were stolen including two watches and a 'cameo ring' with a beige background.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or email 101@cumbria.police.uk quoting log number 196 of April 27, 2017 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
