SAILING clubs across Cumbria are inviting people of all ages to get out on the water.
It is part of the Royal Yachting Association's (RYA) Push the Boat Out campaign, which aims to get people on the water for free or at a low cost.
Taster sessions are being held at Coniston Sailing Club, Roa Island Boating Club, Arnside Sailing Club, Windermere Outdoor Adventure Centre, South Windermere Sailing Club and Killington Sailing Association.
"Push The Boat Out is a great introduction to all aspects of boating", Adam McGovern, North West regional development officer for the RYA said.
"After having a go at the taster sessions, you can continue to learn to sail with instructors delivering the acclaimed RYA method of progressive training."
The sessions are taking place between May 13-21 and more information can be found at http://www.rya.org.uk/programmes/push-the-boat-out/Pages/Search.aspx
