The man had come off his quad bike due to a medical episode
A MAN has come off his quad bike near the Fell Road in Lindale.
Police were called to the incident at 1.20pm today (April 4), which was at first believed to be a collision.
However, the man had come off his quad bike due to a medical episode.
He was assesssed and treated by the Great North Air Ambulance Service doctor-led trauma team.
The North West Ambulance Service then took him to hospital.
He is not thought to have any life threatening injuries.
