A 50-YEAR-OLD cyclist was flown to hospital after a road traffic collision in Ulverston.
Police were called at 9am today (May 4) following a collision between the cyclist and a Ford Transit van on the A5087 at Hill Fall.
The cyclist, from Barrow, was taken to Royal Preston Hospital via air ambulance.
His injuries were described as serious but not life-threatening by police.
