PLANS to create a cafe at Yard 2, off Stricklandgate, Kendal, met with approval from South Lakeland District Council.
Kendal Town Council was also in favour of the plan for the empty shop, and no neighbours raised objections.
The applicants are named as Mr and Mrs Dewhirst and Hoe, of Kendal, on planning documents. Two full-time and two part-time staff are proposed.
