KIRKBY Lonsdale based dog sitting business Barking Mad is awaiting TV fame as its first advert is set to launch.
The advert features Hobbes, an adorable apricot Cockapoo who 'loves training and being on a TV set'.
Alison Quigley, Barking Mad representative for the South Lakes said: "This is a most exciting development in the history of our dog care business.
"Hobbes is a gorgeous apricot Cockapoo and it’s a dream come true to actually see Barking Mad on TV, we are very proud of our fantastic dog community of staff, hosts and customers and not to forget doggies who have all helped to make this happen!"
The company has branches across the UK and arranges accommodation for dogs in a home environment with select host families, where their existing feeding and exercise routines are maintained, as their owners go on holiday.
The advert launched on the Really Channel on May 15. It will go on to be shown on ITV at 8.28am on May 25 and numerous other channels including Sky Living, ITV2, ITV3 and MORE 4.
