WHO am I? That might be a question you have as you read this. "Who is writing this?"

I asked a few people this question, these are the responses: "you're a Christian," "wife" "mummy," "friend," "sister," "daughter," "aunty."

I'm a 30 year old wife and mum of two. Being these things is important to me but there is another more important answer to this question about me: I am a child of the living God. I am confident of this. Why? Only because of Jesus. The Bible tells me that I was far away from God, that I rejected God's rightful rule as my Creator and King of my life, resulting in death and life without Him. This is the truth of the Bible and this is a problem for me. Who am I? I am someone without hope. But the Bible brings me great news and that is that Jesus suffered and died for me. He was separated from God so that I don't have to be. Even more, He rose back to life and defeated death so I can have eternal life with God. In the Bible, John chapter 1 verse 12 says, "But to all who believed Him and accepted Him, He gave the right to become children of God." I believe and trust that Jesus died and rose for me, saving me from death and this is the only way to know God. This is why, above everything I can call myself God's child and look forward to eternity with Him.
