FUNDRAISERS are being encouraged to get muddy for the YMCA Lakeside appeal.
The inaugural Mud Dash will see participants running either five or 10km over natural and man-made obstacles on October 7.
Money raised will go towards the public fundraising appeal, launched to create a state of the art school facility for the outdoor activity centre.
Advanced entry fee is £25 plus booking fee or £35 on the day and there is a free t-shirt for all competitors.
If family and friends do not want to get muddy there will be opportunities to have a go at YMCA Lakeside activities including the King Swing, archery and an obstacle course. Face painting, stalls and refreshments will also be available.
