Grange-over-Sands will host an arts and craft fair on Sunday, May 28, on the Victorian Seafront Prom overlooking Morecambe Bay.

After 12 years of successful fairs, Prom Art has joined forces with Europe’s largest market operator, Groupe Geraud.

Visitors can enjoy a walk along the sunny Victorian sea front while admiring art work, complemented by the picturesque views of Morecambe Bay. Buskers are set to serenade shoppers and traders, adding to the artistic and cultural experience of Prom Art.

Prom Art 2017 will boast up to 84 exhibitors, with art ranging from paintings, handmade jewellery, photography and glasswork, as well as many other crafts.

All exhibitors must produce their own work, so each stall brings with it a piece of the artist’s personality and originality. Up-and-coming art graduates and experience craft makers alike are set to feature at the event, adding to the eclectic mix of styles from the local artists.

The market is set to run on the last Sunday of each month from May through to September, from 10am- 4pm. This gives shoppers, browsers and art appreciators five chances this year to enjoy the crafts on display.

Philip Lamb Managing Director of Geraud UK said: “We’re delighted to be involved in this year’s Prom Art. The exhibition has been in production for 12 years and Groupe Geraud looks forward to bringing our expertise to what is already a fun and cultural day.”
