A FESTIVAL which focuses on both live music and theatre will be taking place on an idyllic farm location in north Lancashire.

Taking place at Dolphinholme House Farm in Dolphinholme, Lancashire on the June 3, Down By The Riverside has an impressive schedule of theatre, live music, and children’s activities.

In planning the event, organisers Steve Lawrence and Mark Gorst (Director of Bloc Roc CIC) enlisted the help of several huge theatre companies, many of which have performed at popular events such as Glastonbury Festival.

As such, expectations have been set high, but Steve is confident that his team can deliver something special.

He said: “There’s absolutely nothing like this in Lancashire at the moment.

“The combination of live theatre and music is sure to be a huge hit with local families, and we’re hugely grateful to the Dolphinholme community for their support in this project.”

There will be no shortage of musical talent. The roster covers a range of genres, from the acoustic tones of Lancaster’s Molly Warburton, to the energetic pop-rock of Blackpool locals The Atmospherics.

The unique riverside location has allowed for the inclusion of some unexpected amenities, namely a beach.
