ACCLAIMED climber and adventurer Leo Houlding, of Staveley, visited Wilson's Endowed School, Over Kellet, and inspired the pupils about the awe and wonder of mountains.
He was visiting as part of a whole school topic on the Lake District and brought all his expedition kit to share with the children and talked of his journey into becoming a climber.

Headteacher Jo Williams said: "Leo's visit has been hugely inspiring. He emphasised the need for safety whilst encouraging all the children to get out there and explore the wonderful outdoors on our doorstep."
