FUNDRAISERS have been invited to orienteer, take part in treasure hunts and practise bush craft to raise money for South Lakeland Mind.

The Lakeland Team Challenge Event, hosted by See Events, will take place on July 27 at the Castle Green Hotel.

The cost of the event is £500 + VAT per team of up to eight people which equates to a £475 charity donation, £25 booking fee plus VAT

Concessions are available for smaller businesses and multiple teams.

Other team building activities will include duck herding, falconry and aerial target shooting.

Teams from local businesses, colleges, universities and organisations are invited to put together a team and take part.

"Our aim is to highlight the importance of mental health and mental wellbeing both personally and professionally," said Kimberley Andrew, community development and engagement officer for South Lakeland Mind. "Together we want to demonstrate the importance and value the outdoors can bring to individuals from a personal development perspective; through promoting mental wellbeing and also as a team cohesion exercise."
