FIRE crews were called to a house fire on Lake Road in Windermere.
The fire took place at 2.16 pm this afternoon (June 22).
The fire, which was in a first floor extension in a block of flats, required firefighters to tackle it using two hose reel jets.

The crews, from Windermere and Ambleside, used 10 metre ladders to access the blaze.
