A 53-YEAR-OLD man was helped by Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team (MRT) after getting lost on Dove Crag.
Members were called out on Sunday (June 25) at 12.18pm to the man, who had been trying to locate the Priest's Hole cave.
The team, who had been attending the local village fete when they got the call, escorted him to safety.

A spokesperson for Patterdale MRT said the team would like to remind people that while the Priest's Hole is marked on the map, the access route is not and it is very difficult to find.
"It is surrounded by dangerous ground and should only be tackled by competent people," they said.
