ROWS of vintage cars and trucks with their gleaming paintwork and shimmering chrome drew the crowds to Grasmere Sports Field for the annual Lakes Charity Classic Vehicle Show.
The event, hosted by The Windermere and Ambleside Lions Club, saw more than 300 vehicles being exhibited, ranging from veteran Land Rovers and historic tractors to elegant Bentleys and iconic Porsches.
There were other fun activities too including a Scalextric challenge which had families competing to get the fastest speed, while a pit stop challenge saw teams and individuals working to change tyres as fast as possible.
