AN HISTORIC Ambleside property is set for refurbishment following its acquisition by Kendal-based developer Russell Armer Ltd.
Lesketh How, built in 1844, is the former home of William Wordsworth's physician, Dr John Davy. It was sold by the Lake District Estates Company Ltd for an undisclosed sum, and it has planning consent for conversion and extension into six two-storey homes.
Advice on the property's sale was given by Kate Mallaband, partner and head of the Cumbrian commercial property team at Napthens solicitors in Penrith and Kendal.
