Mountain biker dies following suspected cardiac arrest near Grasmere
A WOMAN has died following a suspected cardiac arrest in Penny Rock Wood near Grasmere.
Langdale/Ambleside Mountain Rescue Team were called yesterday (June 28) at around 1.20pm.
Immediate CPR was provided by her husband and several witnesses.

Defibrillation on scene by paramedics, First Responders and the team meant she could be flown to hospital for further treatment
The team was later informed that the woman died in hospital.
