Winner of best in parade in 2016 was French Connection on the theme "hunting for Bownessie"
A FANCY dress boat parade is to take place on Windermere on Saturday, August 5.
Decorated vessels will gather at Bowness Bay at 6pm to make a circuit of the bay from around 6.30pm.
The Lake District Boat Club event will see prizes awarded for best in parade, best team, best-dressed yacht, best-dressed cruiser, best small craft and most topical.
