FLOOD damage to a cobbled alleyway beside one of Kendal's oldest buildings, Sleddall Hall at Wildman Street, will be repaired if South Lakeland District Council gives the go-ahead.
Applicant Andrew Window is seeking planning consent to restore the passageway after flood waters surged through it in December 2015, scouring away cobbles and removing parts of the lime-washed, rubble-stone walls.
Sleddall Hall, an antiques shop, dates back to the 16th century and is Grade II listed.
