A LOW Bentham man is cooking up plans for a new restaurant at Kirkby Lonsdale.
Jonathan Harrison is seeking planning permission to change an empty shop at 9 Market Street into an eatery, with a free-standing timber bar and catering kitchen.
According to plans lodged with South Lakeland District Council, two full-time and three part-time jobs are proposed and opening hours would be 9am-midnight, Monday-Sunday. The Grade ll-listed building dates back to the 18th century.
