BAY Trust Radio broadcasts online, as well as across south Cumbria and north Lancashire within hospitals of the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust – in particular, Lancaster, Kendal, and the surrounding areas.
The charity is looking for new volunteers aged 16 and over from all backgrounds.
The station uses state-of-the-art technology and technology that can be found in professional radio stations across the world. It provides a 24-hour service, every day of the year.
We’re on the lookout for new faces to join our friendly team of dedicated and hard working volunteers.
If you’re interested in a career in media or journalism, this is a great opportunity to learn some of those skills. It is also a fantastic way to help boost confidence, meet new people and make a difference.
From patient and community liaison, events organisation and web design to presenting, producing and journalism – there’s a wide range of roles available at the station. No experience is necessary, as full training will be given. Volunteers will be expected to devote a minimum of two hours a week to the charity.
