Kendal War Memorial
HISTORIC England is to be consulted by Kendal Town Council over whether work is needed to restore the town's war memorial in Market Place. The council had received a letter from the War Memorial Restoration Co offering to carry out the works on the memorial but Cllrs Paul Bramham and Chris Hogg felt it was fine as it was and restoration work was unnecessary.
