LAKELAND Maze Park has again opened its doors to its latest maze masterpiece. To celebrate the release of the upcoming Star Wars film 'The Last Jedi', the Millennium Falcon has been cleverly recreated within the maize plantation, which is around 8-10 feet tall. Star War fans flying over it will instantly recognise its distinctive shape, resembling two convex saucers welded together, a front-facing mandible and an outrigger-o-style single, side-mounted cockpit. Negotiating the ship can be tricky since the inner corridors of the spaceship involves puzzles; clues A to K are hidden in the maze which once found, compiles a code on an Imperial Tracker chart. Also, younger Jedis can track down the missing Droids that are lost within the mini-maze. The maze is open from 10am-6pm daily at Sedgwick, near Kendal.
