A KENDAL girl living with a muscle-debilitating condition is doing an indoor skydive with 12 friends to raise money for charity.
Ella Dixon, 11, was diagnosed as a manifesting carrier of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy in 2010, and has since raised more than £40,000 for Muscular Dystrophy UK.
On August 22, the young fundraisers will be visiting iFLY in Manchester to carry out the indoor dive.
Ella's father, Craig Dixon, said: "We’re very proud of everything she does. She never lets her condition get the better of her and is always smiling.
"We are overjoyed she’s wanting to do something that will make a difference to her and Muscular Dystrophy UK."
