Traffic is stationary on southbound M6 due to medical incident
An air ambulance was called to a medical incident on the M6 between J36 and J35 near Burton-in-Kendal services.

Traffic on both carriageways of the motorway was stopped for a time for the air ambulance to land but they opened both ways again at about 5.40pm.
