EMERGENCY services were scrambled to locate a missing vessel after two reportedly drunk adults, accompanying two children, had gone out on Ullswater.
Cumbria Police were concerned for the welfare of the children as the adults were reported to be arguing following a drinking session in a nearby hotel in the early hours of this morning (August 16).
Patterdale Mountain Rescue and Maryport Coastguard assisted police, and the vessel was located safely and a man was taken in custody.
