BUZZARDS are nesting at the proposed site of three new homes in Carnforth, according to residents.
Carnforth Town Council voiced its objection to outline plans for the trio of dwellings on land behind 25 Crag Bank Crescent.
Cllr Bob Roe told a recent town council meeting the new houses would be too close to existing properties, and they would be out of character as they were not bungalows.
Residents informed the council of nesting buzzards in the area, and councillors agreed it might be advisable to tell the RSPB. They agreed unanimously to oppose the planned housing.
