MEDICATION has been stolen from Grange this morning (August 23).

A rucksack was left on a bench on Main Street, Grange, and taken at some point between 9am and 11am.

The bag contained one box of 40 Pregabalin tablets, as well as a mobile phone worth £90 and a blue and white Adidas hoodie.

Police have warned that the drugs could cause harm if they are taken by people who do not medically require them.

They are urging anyone who may find medication that does not belong to them to take it to their nearest police station or pharmacy.

Anyone who has any information about the theft should call Cumbria Police on 101 and quote log number 123 of today, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
