Ambleside
AMBLESIDE is the most trodden town in the UK, according to new figures from the Ordnance Survey.
It has produced a table that shows how many walking routes have been created in each town and city in the UK.

In the table, Ambleside came first with 2,731 and Keswick second with 2,523.
