TICKETS are now on sale for Rosemere Cancer Foundation’s anniversary ball at the Belsfield Hotel, Bowness-on-Windermere.
The black tie event is to take place on Friday, November 3, starting with drinks at 7pm and followed by a three-course dinner and entertainment from vocalist Stephen Bayliss, magician Jason Ray and local singer Becki Fishwick.
The ball will raise money for Rosemere's 20 Years Anniversary Appeal, launched in March to raise £1.5 million for a trio of groundbreaking projects at the Rosemere Cancer Centre at Royal Preston Hospital.
The centre is south Cumbria and Lancashire’s specialist cancer treatment centre and provides patients with all local radiotherapy, among other specialist care. Rosemere’s work also extends to another eight hospitals, including the Westmorland and Furness General Hospitals.
Tickets for the ball are £50 per person or £65 for a VIP ticket including extra fizz and a Laura Ashley goody bag. To book, call 01772-522913. www.rosemere.org.uk
