SOUTH Lakeland Decorative and Fine Arts Society's new programme of lectures opens on Tuesday, October 10 with a talk by a member of the Antiques Roadshow team, Marc Allum. The former director of a major London auction house joined the BBC team in 1998. His wide interests range from antiquities to Georgian glassware, ethnographic objects and what he describes as "all things strange."
Marc's The Objects Talk begins at 1.30pm at Kendal's Brewery Arts Centre.
