FIRE crews were called out to Cartmel Fell yesterday (Wednesday September 20) to a conservatory fire.
The fire was well alight when fire engines from Windermere and Grange arrived at the scene.
Four sets of breathing apparatus, a pump and a hose reel were used to pout the fire out, which was successfully done before it spread to the rest of the house.
There were no casualties.
It is possible that the fire was started by electrical items in the house, however this is not confirmed.
