FIREFIGHTERS attended to a chimney fire in a home in Penny Bridge yesterday (September 24).
Crews were called at 11:23am. One fire engine, from Ulverston, attended the incident and crews put out the fire using a hose reel jet and chimney rods.
Crews were detained for an hour.
