A NEW shopfront is being planned for an empty, Grade II-listed property on Highgate, Kendal.
Owner Christopher Moss is seeking consent to replace the rotting, purple plywood at number 18 as it is in danger of collapse, according to planning documents lodged with South Lakeland District Council.
The new shopfront would be timber, painted dark olive green. The first floor of the building is also to have new rendering. The property is between the Fleece Inn and the Mountain Warehouse outdoor shop.
