FIREFIGHTERS tackled a blaze at a house in Burneside.
Eight fire engines from Cumbria were called to the incident at the domestic property on High Hundhowe at 1.52am on Monday morning (October 2).
The fire involved the ground and first floor of the property, measuring approximately 15m by 20m.
Fire crews, two wearing breathing apparatus, used four compressed air foam system jets, three main jets, two hose reel jets, two 12.5m ladders and height safety equipment.
Crews were detained at the scene overnight, until 4pm while they checked the structural integrity of the building and damped down the house.
