A 47-year-old woman was verbally abused by a group of youths at the Birdcage in Kendal town centre, police have said.
Officers investigating the public order incident have said the group of teenagers, both male and female, threw the woman's shopping to the ground and then proceeded to follow her to McDonald's.
Four of the group of youths involved in the incident, on Thursday October 12 at about 9:30pm, were said to be riding bicycles.
